Our time at Shishangeni exceeded all expectations! The staff at this eco-lodge went above and beyond, accommodating our needs with a warm smile. We were astounded by the wildlife right outside our Shawu room; it felt like a scene out of a movie, with lions, hippos, and elephants gracefully passing by for a drink.The tent we stayed in was a dream, overlooking a peaceful dam where we spotted the Big 5 from our verandah! Regina's culinary skills left us spoiled for choice, and the attentive service from all the lovely ladies ensured our comfort throughout. Our game drives with the knowledgeable ranger, Sifiso, were nothing short of magical - witnessing the beauty of nature firsthand.Situated within the stunning Kruger National Park, the location couldn't have been better. Our guides, Texan and Solomon, were exceptional, showcasing deep respect and knowledge of the wildlife. We even had a breathtaking encounter with two elephant herds, expertly handled by Solomon. Being the only guests allowed us flexibility and an exclusive experience.The camp's scenic views and cozy rooms created a serene atmosphere. With a team of friendly and attentive staff, including the talented chef Regina, our every need was met. The abundance of wildlife around the lodge made every moment special, and the game drives exceeded our wildest expectations. This trip was truly unforgettable and a testament to the wonders of nature in the Kruger National Park.
